Training recommences on Monday evening, the 14th of September, at the same place at the same time. For those of you that forgot, that's 4.45 down at the artificial pitch. The other training times and pitch locations are listed here

Fresher's Week

The dates for Fresher's Week and the Sports Expo have been confirmed as Monday 14th of September - Thursday 17th September. All help at the stall is much appreciated, so feel free to call down whenever and please pass on the word to everyone you know. Details will be available of the first trip of the year. So clear your schedules for the weekend of the 10th of October.

Also a big thanks goes out to all who helped during Orientation Week. It was a major success.

Coaching Changes

The 2009-2010 season sees a change of men's coach in UCD. Leaving us is Chris Arnold (pictured above left), who is moving to Austria to coach both the Vienna Cherokees and the national side. Chris has done amazing work with both UCD and the Irish team over the past two years, leading both to success in many competitions. He recently was head coach as Ireland finished third in the Celtic Cup. Lacrosse in Ireland will certainly miss his drive and dedication to the development of the sport. We all wish him well in his new projects.

Replacing Chris at UCD is current captain of the Irish national side, Michael Kennedy (pictured above right). Mike has been helping out with coaching and development at UCD since the foundation of the club. His immense leadership abilities and in-depth knowledge of game will hopefully prove crucial as UCD strives to continue its recent success.
